AEGON and Citigroup Create Platform To Facilitate Portable Alpha

AEGON and Citigroup seem to have followed the lead of Canadian pioneer Northwater in the development their “first to market” operational platform to facilitate portable alpha. It appears from Citigroup’s press release that the platform will operate in a similar manner to a Unified Managed Account (UMA) which is the cat’s meow in the retail/SMA business.
